The Aizu Cultural Heritage Project is a joint effort between the West Virginia University Vitual Enviornments Lab, under the Reasearch for Undergraduates Program, and Aizu University, located in the Fukushima prefecture of Japan. Our goal is to record and preserve the local culture and heritage of the ancient Buddhist temples of the Aizu region before they are lost to the ages.
