Purpose(general motivation):

• Digital preservation of cultural heritage sites and objects in the Aizu region.
  
  
• Promote digital awareness, education and skills in local communities.
  
  
• Build grid computing network with which to share cultural assets, promote technology education and build infrastructure for community based supercomputing.
